About Carers’ Action

Carers’ Action is run by Carers for Carers. We provide support to Carers throughout Leicestershire and Rutland who care for an adult with mental ill health.

We meet to:
• Share our experiences
• Give our views
• Be better informed
• Work for change

The forum works with Carers, health and social care providers and voluntary organisations to ensure Carers are heard and involved in shaping, developing and monitoring services.

We meet every two months to discuss a wide range of issues such as Carer respite services, training for Carers, information and resources and national/local developments.
